Yup, see that little grin there? That's because I outsmarted my people, once again! I took this picture of myself after I got that bone off the string ( see previous post) and succesfully buried it. Being the brilliant hound that I am, I placed a smaller decoy bone in another hole for them to dig up. It worked! They dug up the fake and left my chewable treasures alone, finally!!

Getting A Bone

Today, I got my bone back. My family dug it up out of its safe, secure, spot in the ground.

But, this time they tied it so that I cannot carry it away.

My Poem

Very few people knew how much I like to write before I started this blog. Here is one of the poems I typed up in my free time. I had to ask Lorissa for help with a couple rhyming words, but here goes :

Doghouses Don't Give Bellyrubs
By Sadie

I sleep inside my doghouse
I go there when it's cold.
Every hound needs a doghouse
Or so I have been told.

I like to play fetch with my toys
On bones I love to gnaw.
For every pooch who loves to play
Please raise your right paw.

But doghouses don't give bellyrubs
And toys can't scratch your ear.
For sure, every dog needs a family
To play with and keep near.

Saying goodbye to Janine

Here I am saying goodbye to Janine, she was only here for three weeks. I hope she comes back soon. Where could she be when she is not here?

A goodbye hug

A Dreary Day

Today has been the perfect day to just sit inside and blog. It rained this morning and now is is dripping again. It is a good thing I got an insulated door for Christmas! It keeps all the cold and wind outside, while I stay snuggly warm in here.

This is my colorful door. How did they know that I love orange?

What a dreary view...

This is Me

This is me, inside my custom built bungalow, which I discovered when I first came to the Havemans. Don't you love the authentic wood paneling? I still need to hang up my pictures, but you know how long that can take...
