Very few people knew how much I like to write before I started this blog. Here is one of the poems I typed up in my free time. I had to ask Lorissa for help with a couple rhyming words, but here goes :
Doghouses Don't Give Bellyrubs
By Sadie
I sleep inside my doghouse
I go there when it's cold.
Every hound needs a doghouse
Or so I have been told.
I like to play fetch with my toys
On bones I love to gnaw.
For every pooch who loves to play
Please raise your right paw.
But doghouses don't give bellyrubs
And toys can't scratch your ear.
For sure, every dog needs a family
To play with and keep near.
